If not much is known about Yamato, even less is known about Kosaburou.
It is known that he is rather smart, as he was the brains behind the pokemon
hypnosis scam, and the attack-inhancing pokemon helmets.  He doesn't speak
as much as Yamato, which indicates he's the quieter of the two.  The most
noticeable aspect of Kosaburou, however, is that he can be quite vicious and
ruthless, and extremely nasty.  After all, he was the one that directed Sleep to make
Pikachu viciously attack Satoshi once he saw how much Satoshi cared for his pikachu.
It is also worth noting that both Yamato and Kosaburou tend to treat love as a
worthless emotion. ("If love is everything in the world, what is precious money?")

I see Kosaburou as highly intelligent, always thinking his way through a situation.
An intellectual of sorts, he enjoys  reading books, often about physics and other
sciences, and also has fun creating and proving his own physics theories.  He is also
a bit reserved, often spending his time around other people thinking to himself. Of
course, I also think Kosaburou can also be a real smartass, making sardonic
comments and generally giving Yamato a hard time.  (Which is then quickly
followed by Yamato hurting Kosaburou.)

On the darker side, I believe Kosaburou will do anything necessary to achieve his goals.
This does include murder, something I think he has done before without a second
thought.  He would also kill those who have hurt the ones he loves without hesitation.

As I write Yamato and Kosaburou as growing up together, I write them as having
a very close sibling relationship.  I find this to be loads of fun, because not only would
they do absolutely anything for each other without hesitation, they also get into some
fantastic screaming matches.  Ah, yes, the joys of sibling love.  *snicker*  However, during
times of crisis, I see Kosaburou as the one who leans more on Yamato for support.
