Vicious, Ruthless, and Dangerous:
Why I Love Yamato and Kosaburou
By: Mabis
I consider myself one of the biggest fans of Yamato and Kosaburou. I also think I have given them some of the most in depth character development around. Finally, I also believe Yamato and Kosaburou are very bad people.
I am convinced that Yamato and Kosaburou are, as the title states, vicious, ruthless, and overall nasty people. These are the type of people that you do not, under any circumstances, want to mess with, as the consequences could be deadly.
It is my belief that Yamato and Kosaburou would gladly blow someone’s brains out if they were given the right reason. Revenge is always a nice reason, as is trying to escape the police. The point is that these people are indeed murderers, and will kill again if they think it is needed.
Now, why do I think that? Well, for one thing, Rocket-Dan is a criminal organization specializing in violent crimes, such as armed robbery, theft, and if need be, murder. Everyone in the organization is a criminal, some more so than others. Thus, it is not just Yamato and Kosaburou who are serious threats to society, everyone in Rocket-Dan is.
I love Yamato and Kosaburou because they are so dangerous. Perhaps it is the demon inside of me, but I like it when they successfully pull off a raid on pokemon files, or get revenge on someone who dared cross them. I have no qualms when they murder someone, either by necessity, or by choice. Yes, everyone, I love it when they are evil.
Since Yamato and Kosaburou are so dangerous, I find them to be extremely compelling and quite complex. They are extremely violent, yet at the same time capable of a wide range of emotions, often times very deeply. Not just rage and anger, but also pain, grief, loneliness, happiness, and love. They are human, after all, albeit capable of doing very bad things.
It would seem a little odd that I love characters that are so bad, but
yet I do. I would hate it if they were to ever become goody-two-shoes.
Of course, knowing them, that would never happen. They would much rather
run someone off the road and into the sea.
