Digimon Tamers 51: Episode 51: The Power of Dreams, Our Future
After an incredibly cheesy Gundam pose for the title image,
Dukemon flies up to save Juri. At the Cable Reaper, the attacks
prove futile and Justimon asks for Sakuyamon to lend him her
power for the blade of his arm. Ruki protests on the basis that
it's dangerous and they don't know what will happen to his body.
But, Ryo pleads with her and she calls him reckless, which he
counters saying that it's the first time she's complimented him.
So the power is reallocated to Justimon by Sakuyamon, who believes
in them. In the transfer, Sakuyamon loses her armor and Justimon
takes it with a great deal of pain. It's now up to Saint Galgomon
to protect them.
At the Mother D-Reaper, the ADR-06s are sent to take on Takato and
are promptly dispensed of while Juri accepts her destiny and her
D-ark begins to glow. The beams from the D-ark shatter the kernel space
above Juri and Kurumon, leaving it open for Takato. Unfortunately,
the D-Reaper doesn't like this and sends in the mutant goo
to fill the kernel.
Back at the Cable Reaper, Saint Galgomon protects Sakuyamon from
the sickles with a bit of good ol' kung fu while Justimon slices
through the Cable Reaper. You'd think that'd be the end of
it, wouldn't you?
It's back to the Mother D-Reaper, where Juri wonders if drowning
in goo is her fate and the J-Reaper appears in all its ugly mutant
glory to take out Dukemon. Just to piss on an already bad day,
the Cable Reaper reforms, further proving that throwing everything
and the kitchen sink at the final boss isn't always the best
way to do something. But then, the Deus Ex Machina strikes. The
Holy Beasts drag the Cable Reaper down with them and Dukemon
retaliates against the J-Reaper.
While
Dukemon and J-Reaper are having a good ol' fashion barroom
brawl, the Wild Bunch/Hypnos group contact Jianliang and it
is revealed to him that they loaded Shaggai into Terriermon.
Way to go, Jiangyu. Shaggai would form a black hole that would
hopefully reverse time to the point where the D-Reaper hadn't
mutated. Saint Galgomon voluntarily descends into the pit where
the Cable Reaper had been dragged into and begins spinning
to form the black hole needed.
Both Takato and Guilmon go completely feral during the fight
with J-Reaper and this gives them renewed strength to defeat
it. With a fist. All those nifty attacks with names and all it
takes is a fist. Now that all but the Mother D-Reaper were defeated,
Dukemon goes to rescue Juri and Kurumon. Kurumon has a protective
field generated for Juri, and Dukemon has to race against a bunch
of cables to get to her. Except not. The cables pull back when
Mother D-Reaper gets dragged into the black hole. Everyone wins,
right?

Wrong. Apparently there was something wrong with the red card:
it was not programmed to take the human/digimon hybrids into
account. This forces the kids to devolve. Takato grabs onto Guilmon's
tail to get the extra boost he needs to get to Juri, who lands
in his arms and hugs him as if this were some silly shoujo anime.
To the rescue come Marine Angemon and the rest. I say Marine
Angemon because he's the one with the giant heart bubbles to
transport them back to the real world. In the real world, the
D-Reaper bubbles disappear and the world is saved. Yay.
However, the kids must say goodbye to their digimon, who can no longer
stay in the real world. Impmon introduces his Tamers, and much
to his surprise, Juri forgives him. Then, all the digimon devolve
to baby form. After Jiangyu explains why this happened, there
are tearful goodbyes. Guilmon says that he and Takato will
play again soon.
Life goes on as if nothing happened in the real world. Months
pass by and Takato finds himself before the concrete shelter
he used to hide Guilmon in. After a digignome flies away, Takato
returns to the rock shelter, only to find the pixelized portal
to the Digital World. He'll meet Guilmon again.
