Hello, hello, and welcome to the Final Fantasy V Fanfic Archive! For those that do not know what fanfics are, they are stories written by fans based on either a television show, comic, anime, or, in this case, a videogame. Right now we have five fanfics, three of which I am responsible for. Remember, all stories are the product of the writer's imagination. Do not in any way rip them off, or distribute it under your name...because then I'd have to sic Gilgamesh on you ;p. And having Gilgamesh running after you with a 450lb axe is NOT a pleasant thing.
Also, guidelines for submission:
1) Author notes are helpful but not required; and they do help readers understand all your little in-jokes and obscure references.
2) Pretty much anything
goes. Anything of a mature subject matter (read: porn) must be marked
as such.
Lost Years By Alyssa. Faris thinks about her sister and her position in life.
Final Fantasy 5 Novella By The MeAjur Komera Waddi. A novelization of FFV.
The High Seas By Kate. Before the game's events, Faris goes searching for legendary trove of treasure, with the competition of a rival pirate captain.
Toki no Hourousha (The Wanderer of Time) By Ajora Fravashi. Set several years after the end of Final Fantasy V, this story details the events leading up to the Final Fantasy Anime and details the back history of Enuo and his fall.
To My Sister By Ajora Fravashi. a.k.a. "Dear Sister". Set just after the ending of FFV, this covers a series of letters by Lenna to her sister about several key points in her past.

for the Forgotten King By Ajora Fravashi, a.k.a.
how much of
the original Epic of Gilgamesh the author can squeeze into the
FFV storyline,
focusing of course on Gilgamesh.
As always, the views portrayed by the authors are their own, so do direct mail as you see fit. And as for that wonderful poem at the end of the page...I do NOT own the rights to it, Nobuo Uematsu does. Said poem is from the FFV "Dear Friends" album, track 11, "As I Feel, You Feel". Originally sung/spoken in Saami (Finnish?), a translation was found at N. E. Steven's wonderful FF lyrics site, which can be found in the links section of this website.
