Seems every site has an updates section, but I've been just lazy in adding one to The Lair.
  • Monday, October 5, 2009- There are a couple of new links in the Link section (including a link to a new Livejournal community), a fixed link to my old art, and a new fan-art by Aiffe.
  • February 5, 2007- Added cleaner scans to the Game Designs > Amano art section and scans of the GBA box and strategy guide to the Game Designs > Production Scans section. Also added a couple of new links. | Review of FFVAdvance: In my honest opinion, it is a wonderful revamp and the script does justice to the light-hearted nature of the original game without turning it into a travesty. In addition to the new script, there have been some graphics and musical tweaks, a secret dungeon with all new items and jobs available once you complete the game, a bestiary, an new secret boss, and bigger, badder versions of Omega and Shinryuu.
  • January 5, 2007- The Armory and Items section has been updated to include the FFVA additions, and my dear little sister made me a Faris doll that is displayed in Fan Creations > Misc. Works.
  • June 5, 2006- Doujinshi scans have been added to Fan Creations > Misc. Works, and photos of the FFV Pez dispensers have been posted in Others > Miscellaneous. In news, there was an announcement that FFV would be remade for GBA as FFV Advance and would ship in December, and Clash at the Big Bridge/Battle With Gilgamesh has made an appearance on the FFXII OST.
  • May 5, 2006- New goodies have been added to Fan Creations > Misc. Works and Others > Miscellaneous.
  • May 5, 2003- Shinryuu's Lair settles into its final home at syldra.net. Lots of love should be sent to the syldra.net server. In updates, more scans have been added to the Game Designs and Armory pages.
  • April 8, 2002- A variety of moves before the site went down again. Alyssa has sent some nice art and a fic, so those are up in the fan art and fanfic gallery respectively. Not much else has happened so there's not much else to report.
  • December 20, 2001- Finished the Relics section of the Armory & Items list, added FF Art Museum card scans.
  • September 14, 2001- Site moved once again, here's hoping I can stay here as long as I can. Should yet another unprecedented move occur, try reaching syldra.net.
  • October 30, 2000- put up new pics, links, and a banner. Updating the updates section is getting kinda monotonous...
  • October 16, 2000- New links, added another chapter of my fic, plotted for global domination. Yay.
  • September 28, 2000- Fixed links, Natalie sent in Galuf pics. Not much happened.
  • June-August 13, 2000- shinryuu.negaverse.org died on June 5th, site relocated to welloffate.com/mirage/. New fan-art and music came in. And yea, it was all good.
  • March 29, 2000- Added submissions from Ariane and Dee, rehashed the music section and replaced a few amano scans
  • February 14, 2000- World2 bestiary up, and added a prelude for "Wanderer of Time" in the Fanfic section. Also up is a gif of all the little memorycard loading icons from the FFV japanese PSX release, from Butz to Sephiroth.
  • Febuary 3, 2000- Uploaded the World1 section of the bestiary and opened up the bestiary section. Also uploaded chapter four of the FFV novella. The World 2 bestiary will appear in the next update.
  • January 14, 2000- Added a few more fan-arts, did minor html tweaking, stuff like that.
  • December 20, 1999- Put up two more Amano scans, a holiday card, and another link.
  • December 16, 1999- Added two FFV Triple Triad cards in the Misc section, reorganized my personal art gallery, added more links.
  • November 29, 1999- Put up the FF Anime section. Joy.
  • November 11, 1999- 6 new images in the FF4 shrine, a gift art from Cait_Sith in the Gifts gallery, another humorous pic by m in my own gallery, a few more names in the Anthology page, the Butz/Boco figurine from Square and a photo of my precious Syldra figurine in the Misc section, and that's about it.
  • October 24, 1999- Obtained FFAnthology (the official English release of FF5 and 6), put up packaging scans from FFAnth, merchandising from Square Japan's site in the Miscellaneous section, and a new page for those only exposed to the FFAnth translation of 5.
  • September 3, 1999- Finally got my hands on the FFIV strategy guide and the last FFV strategy guide, therefore there are more images up in the Amano gallery, and a small FF4 shrine. There is also a link to a Japanese site that carries FF2j manga (comic) scans in the FFII shrine.
  • August 22, 1999- The Walrus has submitted part 3 of the FFV tileset for RPGMaker 95, and I did some reorganizing to my gallery and the misc gallery and put up a few new fan-arts.
  • August 11, 1999- The Final Fantasy 1-3 image shrines are up, along with an mp3 from the FF1+2 OST (an arranged remix of various tunes from the games.
  • July 11, 1999- Another major update! Got my hands on the artbook Final Fantasy Japan, so now there are even more pics in the Amano Gallery, as well as more site pics in the maps section. Thanks to Dee, there's now another gift art up, and part 2 of the FFV RPGMaker tileset up (though do not expect any more of this set any time soon).
  • July 1, 1999- Got my hands on the Final fantasy V: Basic Knowledge guidebook, which means new scans in the Amano and Maps section. Added to the Treasure Boxscreenshot of Cloud in FFV and a FFV tileset by The Walrus made for RPGMaker. Also, The Lair now hosts the Page of Squaresoft Glee so do pay them a visit.
  • June 17, 1999- Put up the second part of the FFV MST in the Treasure Box, as well as a novelization of the game in the Fanfic area by the MeAjur Komera Waddi, two pics from GeniusKei in the art gallery, and a gift art to someone in the Gifts section. There are now two sheet music scans for the FF1 opening and the FF2 main theme in the Music section, and I'm seriously considering adding a small FF1-3 shrine to the Lair. Y/N?
  • May 17, 1999- I have some of my sketchbook scans available in a link in my section of the fan-art gallery. And I've made creation of winamp skins my new hobby, so an ExDeath winamp skin is available in the Treasure Box.
  • May 3, 1999- Little tiny update, nothing big. Got a nifty gift-art, courtesy of Dee from the Cult (of Kefka) Tower/Rydia Shrine, thus leading to the opening of the Gift Art section in the Fan-art gallery, and some new Japanese works brought to my attention by Greg. Oh, and yes, the Links section is back up.
  • April 23, 1999- the weapons/items/armor list is now up! I translated it all on my own (with a little help fron ChibiArty for a few of the monster-names), so there may be some differences between my translations and those in the RPGe rom. They should be very minor though. Also, I've added another (fairly humorous, imho) pic in my (Shinryuu's) fan art gallery...go take a look and tell me what you think. On a more serious note, my mailserver crashed and I lost all the mail that was in my macbox account. So if you sent me any mail that needs a response, please send it again so I can answer it?
  • March 30, 1999- wasn't actually planning to update until I got weapons/armor/items lists up, but two people have donated some art (see how lenient the sitemistress really is when it comes to donations. I'll accept pretty much everything. Yes, even a few dirty works if they're written/drawn well, but then I'll have to make a password-protected section for those, now wouldn't I?), and there has been an extra special donation to The Lair...the elusive, hard-to-find Krile KISS set (thanks goes to Greg for the wonderful donation)! Pics of Gogo, ExDeath, Gilgamesh, Ghido, Krile, and the 4 Warriors of Dawn in the Amano section.
  • March 25, 1999- Map section open, though incomplete: only the world maps are up at the moment(all map/items/weapon/armor images scanned from the second FFV Strategy Guide (FFV: Perfect Conquest). Please, PLEASE do not take these pics without my permission. I'm a very lenient dragon, and respond favorably to polite request.). You may notice that the mp3 links may not work. This is because I've linked to the PS I Love You site, and they have recently taken down their mp3s for an indefinite amount of time. (Why they've taken down the mp3s is unclear, though a source tells me it's because of bandwidth problems due to major gaming sites linking directly to their mp3s.) I'm currently on a mission to find another server to put the mp3s on, so if anyone has any suggestions or offers, please let me know?
  • Previous Updates- (okay, so my memory's not all that great...) The disk I had my links.htm file on went missing, I can't find it, and it'll take some time for me to get all the links together again. Very sorry about this. Also, due to complete lack of creativity on my part (anyone out there with inspiration to spare?), the only finished bio in the Who's Who list is Faris'. Would like to finish the rest if possible. I now have the FFV: Perfect Conquest, the second FFV strategy book printed, and it is EXTREMELY rare! Have been scanning as much as possible, so come back soon and hopefully the items/armor/weapons lists will be up with pics of each listed item, along with scans of everyone's favorite old geezers in armor, the Four Warriors of Dawn. The Lair has changed locations several times in the past, and hopefully shinryuu.negaverse.org will be here to stay. Please update all old links. Okay, this should pretty much cover everything from when The Lair went up early December 1998.

Please contact the sitedragon Shinryuu if there is any problem, or if you would like to donate anything.
